Who can use Cyne Up?
Cyne Up is designed for everyone, but is specifically managed by event hosts and organizers, including but not limited to band directors, sports team organizers, and community event planners. It’s perfect for any type of event with participants needing to register or check in, especially if there is judging at the event.
What types of events can I create on Cyne Up?
You can create music events, sporting events, general public events, competitions, and any other events requiring registration and management.
Do I need technical experience to use Cyne Up?
No! Cyne Up is designed to be user-friendly and intuitive. Whether you’re tech-savvy or not, you can easily create and manage events using our drag-and-drop features.
How fast is the registration process?
Cyne Up is built for speed, allowing both event hosts and registrants to complete the event creation and registration process in minutes.
Can I create recurring events?
Currently, Cyne Up supports one-time event creation. For recurring events, we recommend duplicating the event for each new occurrence. This allows event organizers to collect information for each event.
Event Creation & Registration
Can I customize the registration form?
Yes! Cyne Up allows you to fully customize your registration forms, adding preselected questions and media, or creating your own to collect the information you need.
How do I add custom questions to the registration form?
You can easily add custom questions specific to the type of event you’re creating during the event creation process.
Is there a limit to how many participants can register for my event?
No, there is no hard limit on the number of participants. However, you can limit the number of registrants from an organization. (i.e., limit the number of registrants per school)
Can I invite people to register instead of making the event open to the public?
Yes, you can either accept open registrations or send invitations to specific people to register for the event.
Can I set a registration deadline?
You can open and close registration as needed to ensure all registrations are completed within your specified timeframe.
How do participants register for my event?
Participants can register directly on your event page or through an invitation code. They can also register using a QR code if available.
QR Code Check-In & Event Day Management
How does the QR code check-in work?
At the event, they simply scan their QR code generated by the event host in the dashboard to check in quickly and easily.
Do I need to print the QR codes?
No, you can use the check-in on your device, enter a code, and the registrant’s basic information. However, you can also print them if preferred.
Can I track attendance in real-time?
Yes, as participants check in via their QR codes, you can track attendance in real-time on your event dashboard.
Can I manually check in participants?
Yes, the host and designated event staff can manually check them in from the backend.
Can I check in participants remotely?
Yes, if your event is hosted online or in multiple locations, participants can check in through their devices, and you can monitor it remotely.
Judging & Scoring
How does the judging system work?
You can invite judges to score participants. Judges need to create an account first. Create customized scorecards, assign judges, and track scores in real time.
Can the scoring be done online?
Yes, judges can score participants directly online. The results will be recorded and displayed on your dashboard.
Can participants be automatically grouped based on scores?
Yes, once the judging is complete, Cyne Up can automatically group participants based on their scores or rankings in a tiered and then round-robin setup.
Can I customize the scorecards?
Yes, you can create fully customizable scorecards for judges, including rating scales and a comment section.
Payments & Pricing
How do I collect payments for my event?
Cyne Up currently supports hosts paying for their events. Future support both upfront payments during registration and invoicing for payments after registration. Payment processing is integrated directly into the platform.
Can I accept payments online?
Yes, Cyne Up integrates with popular payment gateways like PayPal and Stripe for secure online payments.
How does the invoicing system work?
For participants who prefer to pay later, you can send an invoice through the platform. The invoice can be paid online through a secure link.
Do you charge a fee for processing payments?
Cyne Up doesn’t charge any additional fees for processing payments, but standard payment gateway fees (from PayPal, Stripe, etc.) apply.
What are the pricing plans for Cyne Up?
Cyne Up is a paid service. Paying in advance may provide discounts for the host. Ask if you qualify for a discount when paying upfront.
Data Security & Privacy
How secure is my data on Cyne Up?
We take security very seriously. All event data is encrypted, and we follow industry best practices to ensure your data is safe and secure.
Do you sell my data to third parties?
No, we do not sell or share your data with any third parties. Your privacy is our priority, and we’re fully committed to protecting your information.
Can I export event data?
Yes, event hosts can export registration data and other event-related information in CSV format.
How long do you retain my event data?
Cyne Up retains your event data for as long as necessary to provide services to you. We remove your event data one year after it has finished. You can delete or export your data at any time until then.

How can I get support if I run into issues?
You can contact our support team via email or the contact form on the website. We also have an extensive knowledge base to help you troubleshoot.
What do I do if a participant has trouble registering?
You can manually register the participant or direct them to the support section. If the issue persists, contact our support team for assistance.
Is there a mobile app for Cyne Up?
Currently, Cyne Up is a web-based platform, but it is fully responsive, meaning it works seamlessly on mobile browsers.
Account Management & Customization
Can I add multiple event organizers?
Yes, you can add multiple organizers or admins to your event, allowing them to help manage registrations, payments, and communication.
Can I customize the look and feel of my event page?
Yes, you can customize your event page with logos, colors, banners, and other design elements to match your event branding.
Do I need to create an account to register for an event?
Participants do not need to create an account to register, though they will need to provide essential details such as name, email, and phone number. Other information is at the discretion of the event organizer
Can I transfer event ownership to another user?
Yes, event ownership can be transferred to another user within the platform. This feature is typically used when the primary organizer needs to delegate responsibilities.
How do I delete my Cyne Up account?
To delete your account, contact our support team, and we will guide you through the process. We’ll also help with exporting your data before deletion.
Can I change my email address?
Cyne Up is structured to use one email as your identifier. You can use alternate emails in registration forms; however, altering your login email address is not currently available.
